About Moulin Hotel
Moulin Hotel is a former coaching inn dating back to the eighteenth century, set in the small village of Moulin just over a mile from Pitlochry town centre, at the foot of Ben Vrackie. The inn has operated its own microbrewery on site since the 1990s, producing a range of ales served alongside its bar meals.
Bedrooms are traditional in style, spread through the original inn building and adjoining cottages, and the bar remains the social centre of the village, popular with walkers coming off Ben Vrackie as much as with residents.
Moulin's position at the start of the main path up Ben Vrackie makes the hotel a natural base for hill walkers, while its distance from Pitlochry is easily covered on foot, by taxi or by a short drive into town for the shops, theatre and distilleries.
