The Invicta Hotel occupies a Grade II listed building on Osborne Place, off Lockyer Street on Plymouth Hoe, originally built as traders' houses in 1840 before being converted into a hotel later in the Victorian era. Its independent ownership and boutique scale set it apart from the larger branded hotels nearby, with a Georgian townhouse feel that has been carefully maintained through refurbishment.

Bedrooms are individually decorated, mixing period features such as high ceilings and sash windows with contemporary furnishings, smart TVs with streaming services and good-quality bathrooms.
