About Little Saltcote
Little Saltcote is a small, family-run bed and breakfast on Military Road, a few minutes' level walk from the Landgate and the start of the old town proper. Its position just outside the historic core gives guests easy parking and a quieter night's sleep away from the busiest streets.
Rooms are comfortably furnished rather than deliberately historic, giving a more straightforward, modern base than some of the period properties within the old town, and the private garden offers a pleasant spot to sit in the warmer months.
Breakfast uses local and, where possible, home-grown ingredients, served in a small dining room, and the owners are on hand with recommendations for exploring Rye and the surrounding marsh and countryside.
