About Swift Farm Camping
Swift Farm Camping is a small, eco-conscious pop-up site spread across two fields on a working farm near Woodnesborough, about five minutes' drive from medieval Sandwich. The owners live on site and run a genuinely personal operation, with resident horses, sheep, goats and ducks giving the farm a proper working atmosphere rather than a purpose-built holiday park feel.
Pitches are limited to a handful of non-electric grass spaces for tents, roof tents and trailer tents, plus a single unfurnished bell tent, alongside space for small campervans up to transit size; large motorhomes and touring caravans cannot be accommodated due to width restrictions on the approach. Facilities include hot showers, toilet blocks, a washing-up station, phone charging points and a communal fridge and freezer, with complimentary tea and coffee and a small refreshments hut on site, and campfires are permitted if raised off the ground.
Dogs are welcome on leads outside the bell tent, and the farm's quiet rural setting is within easy reach of the Five Bells pub and a shop in nearby Eastry, as well as the beaches at Deal, Broadstairs and Margate, all within about half an hour's drive. The site operates only during a limited summer season, reflecting its small scale and hands-on family management.
