The Waves is a late-Victorian building on Scarborough's South Cliff, close to the Spa, run as a seven-room luxury B&B by hosts Rebecca and James. Each room is individually decorated with a mix of Victorian and Art Deco furnishings, and finished with Smart TVs and higher-end bedding than is typical for a B&B of this size.

Breakfast is built around locally sourced ingredients, and an optional evening cheese and charcuterie board extends the offer into the evening for guests who would rather not head out. The quiet South Cliff location comes with easy parking, a genuine practical advantage in a town where seafront parking is often difficult, and it is an easy walk to the railway and bus stations as well as the town centre.
