Oxon Hall Touring Park

Shropshire

A well-run touring park two miles west of Shrewsbury town centre

About Oxon Hall Touring Park

Oxon Hall Touring Park sits just off the Welsh border road out of Shrewsbury, close enough that the town's medieval streets and castle are a short bus ride or cycle away, yet quiet and rural once you are through the gate. The park is laid out with generous, level, hedge-lined pitches for caravans and motorhomes alongside a separate area for tents, giving a reasonable sense of privacy between neighbours even when the site is busy over summer weekends.

Facilities are geared towards touring visitors staying several nights while exploring both the town and the wider Shropshire countryside: modern shower and toilet blocks, hookups on the touring pitches, and a small shop and reception selling essentials and local information. The park's position close to the A5 makes it a practical stopover for those touring further into Wales as well as a base purely for Shrewsbury itself, and the on-site facilities are kept in good order year-round rather than just through peak season.

Dogs are welcome on leads, and the flat, well-drained pitches suit both families with younger children and couples looking for a straightforward, no-fuss base. Its proximity to the town means an evening meal or a look around the castle grounds is easily managed without needing the car again once you have arrived.
