Riverside Holidays
Hampshire
A touring park on the River Hamble, around eight miles from Southampton
About Riverside Holidays
Riverside Holidays occupies a quiet spot on the edge of the village of Hamble-le-Rice, overlooking the River Hamble and its busy sailing marina. The touring park takes tents, caravans and motorhomes from March to October, alongside a small number of holiday lodges available to book year-round, giving it a broader season than many campsites in the area.
The riverside setting is the main draw, with several pitches offering water views and easy access to the Hamble waterfront, its pubs and its sailing clubs. On-site facilities include electric hook-up for touring pitches, modern shower and toilet blocks, and a small shop for essentials, while the village itself is a short walk away for restaurants and further supplies. Dogs are welcome across most of the touring areas.
Hamble makes a good base for sailing enthusiasts and for visitors who want a coastal or estuary feel without the busier resorts further along the Solent. Southampton, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight ferry at Hamble-le-Rice are all within easy reach, making this a useful, well-connected alternative to staying in the city itself.
