Burnside Caravan Park
Moray
Small, quiet park at Fochabers where the Spey nears the sea
About Burnside Caravan Park
Burnside Caravan Park is a small, family-run site at Fochabers, near the lower end of the River Spey where the valley opens out towards the Moray Firth coast. It offers a quieter, less touristy alternative to the busier sites further up Speyside, while still sitting on the route of the Speyside Way.
Pitches are available for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, with electric hook-up on most, along with a modest but clean amenities block and laundry facilities. The park's small size and family management give it a relaxed, low-key feel, and its position makes it a useful base for combining a Speyside whisky trip with the Moray coast towns of Buckie, Lossiemouth and Findhorn.
Dogs are welcome and the site is popular with couples and small families looking for a straightforward, well-priced base rather than a resort-style park. Fochabers itself is known for its antique shops and the Baxters food visitor centre nearby, adding a food and shopping dimension to a stay here beyond whisky and walking.
