We spent 4 nights here in April 2026. It is an excellent centre for visiting Suffolk's attractions such as Thorpeness, Aldburgh, and Snape Maltings, amongst others. The generally well laid-out site caters for camping, touring caravans, and statics, also a storage facility. The main building contains the reception and shop, the shower/toilet facilities, and laundry room and dish washing facilities. These are all very tastefully designed, and maintained to the highest standard. Outside is a very well equipped childrens play area. The staff are all friendly and chatty. BUT: The pricing structure flips frequently between 'high' and 'low', driven mainly by school holidays. During our short stay the shop/cafe had either very limited or non-existent opening hours, which is a pity as it is a lovely facility, and in spite of half our nights being at the peak rate. Some of the toilets/showers are also closed at quieter times. The showers can be a little temperamental, but adequate. If you pay for a serviced pitch (as we did)(10A only EHU), be prepared for a long walk to empty your toilet cassette. We took ours in the car!! This site has pitched itself towards the upper end pricing, and would be getting a higher rating from me if it were not for the very limited shop/cafe/reception opening hours.

First time camping with the family and had a fantastic time. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The campsite is a nice size with very large pitches. Kids had an absolute blast and will definitely be returning 👍🏼

Just had another great experience with a 3 day camping trip. Been coming here to Haw Wood Farm since our boy was 5, he's now 14. Always a lovely place to stay. We use the service pitches and stayed in the meadow field this time. Pitches are keep in great condition and plenty of room for our large tent. Lovely childrens play area, great shower block and the facilities are always very clean. The family and staff are always welcoming and have a lovely little shop/cafe were you can restock or purchase snacks/meals and drinks. Looking forward to our next visit.
