Housed in a six-hundred-year-old building just off Tenterden's high street, the Print House takes its name and its room themes from William Caxton, the town's printing pioneer, with each of its six bedrooms named for an aspect of his trade. The Author's Suite occupies the oldest part of the building, complete with oak beams and a wood-burning stove, while other rooms overlook a walled garden to the rear.

The inn's kitchen and bar have built a strong reputation locally, with continental breakfast included in room rates and a menu that changes with the seasons. Several of the rooms are dog-friendly, a detail that has helped make the Print House popular with walkers exploring the surrounding Wealden footpaths.

Its position just off the high street keeps the museum, shops and railway station within easy walking distance, while Chapel Down vineyard and the wider Kent & East Sussex Railway line are a short drive away.
