Island Meadow Caravan Park occupies a genuinely distinctive setting beside the village of Aston Cantlow, with the site almost entirely encircled by the River Alne and its old mill race, giving it the feel of a private island a short drive from both Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon. The park is a family-run touring and holiday caravan site, with a smaller number of pitches reserved for visiting tourers and motorhomes alongside its static holiday homes, set within mature grounds of grass and trees running down to the water.
Touring pitches come with electric hook-up and access to a clean, well-kept amenity block with showers and toilets, and the park's riverside setting makes it popular with anglers as well as those simply after a quiet, scenic base. Aston Cantlow itself is a pretty timber-framed Warwickshire village with strong Shakespeare associations, said to be the parish where William Shakespeare's parents married, and has a village pub within easy walking distance of the park for evening meals.
