Pinewoods Holiday Park occupies a genuinely rare position, set directly beside Wells-next-the-Sea's own beach at the end of Beach Road, with the town's famous pine woods and dunes forming its northern boundary. The Spoonbill Touring Park and Camp Holkham areas provide pitches for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes alongside the park's much larger holiday home and lodge operation, all within a short walk of the sand.
On-site facilities include a well-stocked shop and cafe, heated shower and toilet blocks, electric hookups on touring pitches, and direct pedestrian access to the beach and nature reserve without needing to cross a road. A seasonal bus service connects the park to Wells town centre, useful for anyone not wanting to make the mile-long walk in each direction, and the surrounding pine woods offer sheltered walking whatever the weather is doing on the open beach.
