Steadings Holiday Park
Suffolk
Family-run touring park backing onto Newbourne Springs, a few miles from Woodbridge
About Steadings Holiday Park
Steadings Holiday Park is a family-run caravan park at Newbourne, just outside Woodbridge, set across around 15 acres of well-kept grounds that back directly onto the Newbourne Springs nature reserve. Best known for its large number of seasonal caravan pitches, the park also takes a small number of touring caravans and motorhomes, drawing visitors who want a peaceful, rural base close to the Deben valley.
Facilities are straightforward but well maintained, with electric hookups and water points across the pitches, grey waste disposal, and modern shower and toilet blocks including family and accessible facilities. There is an on-site fishing lake for guests, grassed pitch areas bordered by hedging, and a barrier-controlled entrance with CCTV. There is no shop, pool or play area on site, but dogs and campfires are both welcome, and the park is open from March through to early January.
Newbourne Springs itself offers direct walking access into heathland and woodland straight from the park, and Steadings' position just off the A12 makes it a convenient base for exploring Woodbridge, the Deben estuary and the Suffolk coast towards Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, while still feeling tucked away in quiet countryside once inside the gates.
