Cheeky Chicken Cottage

Stayed here for the weekend in our Motorhome. Upon arrival Gary and Tracey was most welcoming and helpful. They are both very committed to the welfare of all of there animals Our stay was very enjoyable as we were involved with the feeding of the various animals. The setting for this is perfect and we wish them both all the very best for the future. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

Found Cheeky Chicken on an Aire app for motorhome members only. Wanted to pitch somewhere different than a conventional site & wasn't disappointed! Tracy was an excellent host & what a beautiful peaceful place! No mobile phone signal which was a blessing for a change! Great to see all the rescued animals being cared for so well & being the only ones pitched up it was like having our own exclusive petting place. Definitely worth a visit & felt nice knowing that all fees go towards the upkeep of the animals 😁 Keep up the good work & we'll try to visit again when it's a little warmer 👍

Just returned from a 2 night stay at Cheeky Chicken Cottage with friends and fell in love with the place immediately. The cottage had everything we needed and the jacuzzi was fabulous, a great way to relax in the evening. Gary and Tracy are fabulous hosts, so friendly and welcoming. Arrived as strangers and left as friends. The set up is so relaxed, loved getting involved with the animals. We will 100% return,

Great hot tub stay in a cottage just a 22 minute drive to York City centre. Great place to stay, did not realise they also offer a campervan area in the private animal sanctuary ( free of charge supervised animal petting ), donkeys, goats, sheep, horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits, guiniepigs, the lot are all rescued. Also rooms available in the guest house.
