What visitors say
Such a lovely campsite. We stayed with our motorhome for 2 nights (we extended an extra night as it was so peaceful). The pitches are level, with a water tap and electric hook up. Grey waste and chemical toilet facilties available. Showers are a little dated however, they were clean, good size and hot! The owner is super friendly, told us a beautiful walk we could do with the dog. Highly recommend 👌

We stayed recently on what is now the Old CL in our touring caravan. We had an amazing pitch. All are generous in size and have a fresh water tap, grey waste disposal and mains hook up. The toilet, shower and elsan point facilities were all excellent and well kept. The pitch its self was a nice level hard standing pitch. There is also what is called the New CL for caravan and motorhome club members only. This site and facilities also looked excellent and well kept. Also on site are cabins and lodges. They looked amazing. The grounds are well kept and it is in a great location not far from Banchory. Dave the owner was always about keeping things in check. A true gentleman. A real pleasure talking to him. Really enjoyed watching him farming his fields. For us a 10 out of 10 site and we will visit again. Keep up the great work Dave. You have a lovely place. 👍

Beyond doubt the friendliest, most peaceful campsite I have stayed on. All plots have everything you need, the wildlife is stunning and the owner a true gentleman who is always approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. A lovely stay awaits you.

As a mature couple we stayed 3 nights with our caravan and Labrador at the Old CL during the Tall Ships event 2025. It’s after 10 years of caravanning the most relaxed CL we visited. Great customer service from Dave, easy circular dog walk from site, fully service pitch, quiet and nice fellow campers on site. Great value at £24/night. Only 5 minutes from Banchory. Highly recommended. Very relaxed stay.
