About Portsoy Caravan Park

Portsoy Caravan Park sits on Links Road with pitches that look out over the bay, and many have direct access to the beach. You arrive to views across the water rather than just a gravel lot. The showers and toilets are dated but kept spotless and well-maintained. Staff are known for being friendly and helpful with practical queries.

The location works well for a coastal break: shops, cafes and pubs are a short walk away, including the Station Hotel and Portsoy Ice Cream, and coastal walks start right from the site. It suits anyone wanting sea views and beach access without fuss, and without needing to drive to reach either.

Sally Small

Lovely friendly small campsite in a perfect location by the sea. Having had to change plans earlier in the year they were extremely helpful and generous in immediately offering either a credit note or refund despite cancellation on the day. Very much enjoyed our night camping on the seafront pitch and hearing the sea from our tent.

We stayed 4 days at this small campsite. Situated in an excellent position for the beach and village but you will need stabilisers if pitch is higher up. The ladies was clean only one shower, very hot but there is a step down inside so a handrail would be handy, also needs regrouting and cleaning of the shower head urgent. My husband found the men's shower not good, too hot not enough cold water coming through but was told of a shower behind the block which was excellent. The area good for walking and cycling. A resident on the site Stuart was very helpful to us on more than 1 occasion. Will definitely go back.👍

A beautiful position right on the coast in a sheltered bay. Staff helpful and friendly, keeping toilets spotless. But only one shower in Ladies toilet block. And we were shocked to discover a public road passes through the campsite. Seeing large lorries passing between rows of tents and caravans, albeit slowly and only during week days, was unpleasant.

Site is run down. Shower blocks need serious upgrading. No grey waste disposal point. No info on where chemical toilet was. Pitch id markers very unclear. Serious slope on most of the pitches. Too much for blocks to help.
