About Cupid's Camping

The lovely Welsh Marches area, straddling Wales and England, makes a great choice for an outdoor break, giving you access to wonderful attractions on both sides. Just outside Grosmont village, Cupid's Camping is part of a traditional working farm with spacious pitches overlooking the surrounding hills and River Monnow. Expect gorgeous views by day, often-spectacular sunsets and big star-filled skies by night – all with plenty of peace and fresh air.

That scenery offers up walks, bike rides and more adventurous days of paintballing or downhill mountain biking. Garden wanders, vineyard visits and castle tours are also on the menu, with Grosmont Castle less than a mile away. The nearest pub for meals is in Grosmont itself, with a few more scattered around; for wider choice, Hereford or Abergavenny are both around 25 minutes' drive. Facilities are simple – showers, toilets and washing-up – but the riverside setting and tiny scale make this a lovely budget-friendly bolt-hole.

This was our second time at rockfield-glamping and it didn't disappoint. We always leave feeling completely relaxed and recharged, having enjoyed the beautiful scenic views and comfy beds!! We enjoyed a family bike ride in forest dean, a ride on the steam train, and drink in a local pub overlooking the river. The kids played happily on the swing while we sat around the bbq. We will definitely be back again as it doesn't get boring!!

What a fantastic place! The location was great but the site itself was 10 out of 10! We rented the whole site for a friends birthday, the yurts were very spacious with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids, and they were over the moon with the tree swing and zip line. The kitchen had everything you needed and the communal area was a great place for us all to sit, drink and eat which made it easier for us to contain and clean any mess we made. The owner Sarah went above and beyond by letting me turn up a bit earlier to put up decorations and was more than helpful with any queries we had. I would recommend Rockfield Glamping to everyone

Had an amazing time away at Rockfield Glamping, Sarah was an amazing host and very helpful during our stay, if we needed anything she was just a message away. This is such a peaceful place, me and my partner stayed with our little girl and we loved it. The views were amazing. The teepee was spacious and was quickly warmed with the wood fire if needed. The beds were so soft and comfortable. The horse box bathroom was such a great experience, having a bath looking over the beautiful views was so relaxing. Me, my partner and daughter all experienced a warm shower/bath. We really can’t wait to come back to make more beautiful memories here.

We had an amazing stay at Rockfield glamping and couldn't recommend it enough! There was 9 of us in total so hired all 4 tents for the weekend meaning we had the whole place to ourselves! The tents were so spacious and clean, and had everything we needed, along with the separate horse box bathrooms for each tent which were perfect (the views from the bath were stunning!). The location was great and there was so much to do on site, including football, badminton, zip line and a swing. Sarah was very helpful throughout and we are already planning our next visit!
