What visitors say
We stayed for May half term on a jumbo electric with a large tent with two adults and a 6yo. On arrival Steve the manager was very welcoming and guided us around the beautiful site, he also popped back to see us on the second day to check everything was going well and gave us some excellent beach recommendations for the week. The site is situated in a flat field bordered by woods of alder, birch and willow which protected us from any wind and was a nature lovers heaven, in the week we saw/heard on the site; bullfinch families feeding in and around the tent, curlew nesting in the adjacent field, linnet, lapwing, blackcap and Willow Warbler song all day from the tent and the cherry on the cake was long eared owl just up the hill. Through the trees are stunning views over towards the nearby hills, forest and moors. On checking the reviews before booking, especially older ones were not favourable for the shower block. We found it to be absolutely pristine with good supply of hot water and a good family room - it was perfect for our needs. As for location - it's really in the centre of everything - 20-30 mins drive through pretty countryside and you are on some stunning beaches, Lossiemouth, Spey Bay (we had hours of dolphin watching from here - beach beautiful massive cobbles but not sandy, adjacent dolphin centre) and the best beach we visited was Findhorn recommended by the site manager. 40-60 mins the other way and you're in the centre of Cairngorm where we swam in lochs and went up the mountain on the vernacular railway. The nearby area is also super, very pretty village and much to do. Basically - we were blown away and cannot recommend this site enough, as such we'll be back for 2 weeks in the summer!

Love the site and it's setting. The staff very welcoming and friendly. Toilets and showers very quirky set out but clean and well maintained. The laundry room was handy too.

A quiet site on the East end of the Cairngorms. Good facilities, spotlessly clean & tidy, helpful staff. Would definitely use again. 5⭐
