I wish I had read the reviews first. Although the site is 'well kept', the facilities were unusable. They were very dirty and smelly (a bit like old pub toilet troughs), the showers were also ice cold and filthy like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Luckily we had family a short drive away so were forced to use their shower, but for most campers that is not an option, so if you must choose this site, make sure you either have your own facilities, or you don't mind a cold dirty shower/sink. We will not be returning to this site, we will probably use Llety or go further afield.

This caravan site is for those looking to escape the commercial types of caravan parks. If you love the peace and quiet and tranquility of the Cardigan coastline, and have a scout/girl guide background, you’ll love it. The shower block and a telephone box are the only amenities, and they are simple and basic but overall generally of good cleanliness. You’ll catch some good sunsets from here and a is a great base for exploring Cardigan, but if you are looking for your clubhouse, power showers, and amusements then this is not the campsite for you.

I was really worried about coming to this site based on previous reviews. However, we had a lovely experience over the bank holiday weekend. On the phone and the welcome when we arrived were very freidnly. George was very flexible with the arrival times and was really quick at getting back to us on the phone. We were pitched on a non electric pitch which was much wetter than the electric pitches due to it's lower position in the campsite and following lots of rain. We weren't far however from the toilet and shower block. The shower block takes 50p pieces so take change and some flip flops to stand in the shower. The block is dated, but they are kept super clean and are covid compliant and were very quiet. I have no hesitation in recommending this site as clean, good value and functional. It's not too far from so many beaches. Enjoy!
