About Bryn Bach Caravan and Camping Site

Perched at the far end of the Llŷn Peninsula with sweeping views across Abersoch Bay to the Eryri (Snowdonia) peaks, Bryn Bach Caravan and Camping Site offers both peace and coastal adventure. The well-kept site sits just a 15-minute walk from two beaches – Abersoch's sheltered main strand and surfer-loved Porth Ceiriad – with the Wales Coast Path running nearby for seal and dolphin spotting. Bikes and paddleboards are available to hire, making it easy to explore further afield to surf breaks like three-mile Porth Neigwl or the 'Whistling Sands' of Porthor.

The site shop impresses with its range (including a licence), whilst facilities cover launderette, washing-up area, communal freezer and two bathroom blocks with accessible options. A sand-covered play area keeps younger campers entertained. Some visitors note the site can feel a little tired in places, but the warm welcome, stunning location and variety of pitch types – from back-to-nature non-electric spots to fully serviced touring pitches – more than compensate.

We had a wonderful stay at Bryn Bach in one of the bell tents. It was beautifully furnished, well equipped and comfortable. The whole site is very well maintained, clean and in a great location with beautiful views. Ally and Ant were very welcoming and helpful, and ensured we had a great stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this site… we will be returning!

Gone with the wind

Superb campsite the owners are beyond helpful hardworking humble people who run everything and juggle a young family themselves. Main showers warm and clean there's another block with three showers and loos even though the 3rd is harder to find. We didn't stay in the top field so can't comment. Site rules no swearing no fire pits due to the close proximity of others. But even though it was full the people were all families with young children all polite kids playing in the little playground. I had signal with 02 and had network. We loved it that much we asked to stay an extra night.

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and service. Ally got us booked in on our last minute trip and was so welcoming, the site has a beautiful view of the Abersoch beach/bay. We also walked down to the 'secret beach' too which was incredible. Toilets & showers were very clean and the water was hot. Having an on site freezer too was a life saver with the weather being so hot! 10/10 would recommend, spacious pitches, great service, better views.

Fantastic campsite with welcoming hosts We stayed at Bryn Bach in one of the glamping tents for two nights during our cycling trip and couldn’t have been happier. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating—helping us with secure bike storage and kindly allowing a late checkout so we could avoid a storm on Monday morning. The site itself offers stunning views, and the facilities were excellent—clean, well-kept, and everything we needed. Thanks again for a great stay!
