We had a magical stay in trailer tent T2. So much space and the beds were surprisingly comfortable given that they were simply sheets of foam. Loved the sofa and armchairs and little coffee table. Previous guests hadn't really washed up the cups etc before they left so we had to clean everything before use but that's not the campsite's fault. A blonde hedgehog came and said hello when we were sitting out on the picnic table one evening and then came inside the tent the following night. And a wren hopped on to say hello while I was sitting quietly working one morning. Lovely spot for families, couldn't be closer to the beach as in I finished a meeting at 11 and was in the sea by 11:07. Playground is great for kids of all ages up to about 13 and the 'hut' for rainy days and charging phones is really helpful too.

Only commenting re the cafe as didn't stay here. The charming cafe is open for non campers, we visited 3 times during our week as its a great spot to the north of the island with few facilities. Lovely coffee, great there are vegan choices ( the vegan cheese toasties were excellent) and all served by a charming characterful owner. Bliss 😊 didn't want to leave

English speaking solo male traveller - I turned up unannounced 10 minutes before they closed during off season and received a very warm welcome, given a tour of the site facilities and the freedom to choose whatever pitch I wanted. There is a busy cafe on site with a steady stream of tourists eating in the outdoor eating area and what seemed like local people collecting food that had been ordered online. I had my own tent so I cannot pass comment on any form of the tent hire offered. The facilities were of a high quality, with a very clean new shower and toilet block recently built. There is a fridge and freezer food storage room, a lounge room with sofas and board games which offered some comfort and warmth in the evenings after dark. I saw that there is camping supplies available for sale, although I did not need anything so I do not know to what extent it is stocked. I was very much looked after, during my exploring across the island I dropped my headphones down a shaft in a WW2 fortification - to help me solve this problem I was kindly loaned 20m of paracord to fish them out! I am not sure if this would be possible during peak season but due to me having to return a rented bike before the flight to Guernsey, my large bag was delivered to the airport at the end of my time in Alderney with a happy smile to wave me off! I can't wait to get back over there!

We came across this place while walking the coastal path. It was 4pm and we'd not found anywhere to eat all day as the only other restaurant outside St Anne's was closed. What a find. Hearing our plight, they fired up the pizza oven and brought us 2 amazing pizzas. Best we've had for years. The owner is a real gent. Thank you for your kindness
