What visitors say
The Bowmen of Caradoc promote traditional wooden bow and barebow archery using wooden arrows only, in all its forms, including target, field, clout and rove. With BoC member's good company they have pulled together around 90 beautiful acres within the Shropshire Hills AONB that will challenge the most experienced archer.

Bowmen of Caradoc friendly club situated on the Long Mynd with gorgeous views. Using traditional wooden bows and arrows.

I’ve been a club member of the Bowmen of Caradoc for several years. It is a super friendly, welcoming and fun club to belong to. The place itself is exhilarating with stunning views across the beautiful Shropshire landscape. The membership ranges in ages and the gender split is roughly 50:50. It’s a very cost effective sports club too, with low annual fees. They put on brilliant fun shoots which everyone can enjoy. The fact that it’s a traditional archery club is what drew me to them. Wooden arrows only and gorgeous traditional, proper English / Welsh bows!

A friendly club for the traditional archer with a nice mix of shooting: target butts on the main field, a woodland walk with a great selection of 3d's and some roving on the back fields beyond. The club has an informal, welcoming feel to it with stunning views of Caer Caradoc and other Shropshire Hills. The club is always on the lookout for new members
