Clusters Chapel

You enter Clusters Chapel into a split-level space that feels generous and light. An 8-bedroom converted chapel built in 1817, it occupies its own stone footprint in Belper's conservation area and can sleep up to 20 people. Ground floor holds four bedrooms, a living room with television, and a kitchen fitted with a range cooker, dishwasher and full-size refrigeration. The first floor contains the dining room—galleried and beamed across 40 feet—plus another four bedrooms, a second living space, utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a shower room. Five bathrooms are spread through the property; three of the bedrooms have their own ensuite facilities.

Bedding and towels are included, as is heating and hot water through winter months. The enclosed garden has lawn, patio and brick barbecue. A sauna suite sits separately (metered). You'll have parking 400 yards away plus two spaces at the owner's home. The town centre—pubs, restaurants, shops—is a short walk, with riverside footpaths 400 yards off. Matlock Bath and Ashbourne are each 10 miles away; the Peak District and Alton Towers are within 30 minutes' drive. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking inside.
