About Dronwy Caravan Park

Whether you're touring the high hills of North Wales or seeking a simple island escape on Anglesey, Dronwy Caravan Park offers a relaxed retreat in a scenic rural setting. This 100-acre working farm on the island's west coast provides modern, fully-serviced gravel pitches for tourers, all with electric hook-up, fresh water and drainage – a mile from the village of Llanfachraeth and fifteen minutes from Holyhead's ferry port.

The site strikes a nice balance between seclusion and convenience. Electric vehicle charging points let eco-conscious campers explore Anglesey and Snowdonia emission-free, while thoughtful touches like a dedicated dog park, laundry facilities and chemical disposal points keep daily practicalities sorted. Guests praise the peaceful atmosphere and spectacular scenery, though the gravel pitches won't suit everyone seeking grass underfoot.

Llanfachraeth village has a convenience store and pub for essentials, while Valley (five minutes' drive) offers a railway station, small supermarket and takeaways. The location is ideal for walkers keen to explore Anglesey's coastal paths or for anyone catching the Irish ferry from nearby Holyhead.

Fabulous fully serviced pitches and such a clean and immaculate site. Owners were on holiday when we arrived but their son did an amazing job of meeting and greeting us. He was just so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much bother. It's an adult only site and was really peaceful and quiet. A lovely 40 min walk through gorgeous countryside to the beach. If you're thinking of booking then do... you won't be disappointed. Would 100% recommend.

By fare the best caravan site we've been on to-date its absolutely spotless and the toilets are like going to a five star hotel I kid you not. The owner is a lovely bloke and very welcoming. You are 5 minutes from an amazing beach where you can let your dog run free . I give this site 10 out of 5 😆 will return soon thanks 🙏

Had a lovely stay thr back in July, owners are really friendly and helpful. The site is very clean & tidy and the pitch was massive with all the services you could need. The dog play area was a good size, secure & very clean. The toilet block opened the day we got thr and was immaculate, great showers and a little basket containing those little extras you may have forgotten. Would definitely recommend & look forward to visiting again.
