About Morfa Brenin
Perched on a working farm in southern Anglesey, Morfa Brenin offers expansive green fields and striking views across to the mountains of Eryri National Park. Level grass pitches sit beside the River Afon Cefni, and the owners are refreshingly honest about the farmyard sounds and smells you'll encounter during the day – though a strict noise curfew means evenings are blissfully peaceful. This is very much wild camping territory: flush loos and a cold-water shower provide the basics, but there's no hot water or drinking tap, so stock up beforehand at convenience stores in Newborough or Bethel (both ten minutes away).
The remote location makes it ideal for walkers and cyclists exploring Anglesey's coast and countryside. Malltraeth village, a five-minute drive or forty-minute riverside walk, has a pub and chippy, while Llangefni (fifteen minutes) offers more choice. Dogs are welcome year-round, and the site's simple, back-to-basics approach suits those craving genuine off-grid escape rather than modern comforts.

Absolute gem of a campsite . Called up an hour before arriving for a last minute stop over and the owner was so accommodating. Was surprised to get a spot as whenever I’ve called before it has been full and I understand why !! Big site but very relaxed chilled atmosphere.
