What a great campsite, would give it more stars if it was an option. The campsite is very well maintained by Donald. The campsite is a great locatìon with decent walks round about and stunning beaches. We watched local seals daily tending to their pups. The facilities in the camsite were well kept and maintained and any issues pointed out to Donald were resolved very quickly (usually there and then). We ended up staying for 6 nights as we were so happy and settled there. The campsite offers hard standing, EHU, grass pitches and areas for tents. Great lay out with amenities in the centre of the site. There are two female showers and one male shower area however none of the 6 of us in our group had to wait to use the showers. The site was spotless. The campsite is a few miles from the ferry terminal and shops but you could walk it there. There are local taxi companies to take you into town, we used local company "Cursty" taxi as she was happy to take us and our dogs in her taxi and her prices are very very reasonable. Would reccomend this campsite for your travels, we will be back to visit Donald and Borve Camp site.

What an amazing place to camp for a couple of nights. Donald the proprietor is lovely and although we did not need the use of a microwave ,airfryer and kettle must be very useful to many. The toilets and free showers are immaculate with plenty of hot water and the hairdryer an added bonus. Spent 2 nights with beautiful views above the sea watching the seals with gorgeous sunsets to follow..It s been a pleasure to stay here. Thank you.

We stayed at Borve campsite for 3 nights, having originally planned to stay for 1. This is one of the best campsites we have ever used and the location is fantastic, right on the coast with a lovely view over the small bay. It was windy while we were there, but the tent area offered some good shelter from the wind. Donald looks after the site really well and the small kitchen was very well equipped (kettle microwave, toaster, various utensils, etc). Toilets and showers (free) were very clean. Highly recommended.

One of the best, friendliest and cleanest campsites we’ve stayed on in the Hebrides. Donald is such a lovely person who will always try and fit you in short notice. Very chatty and kind. Fantastic facilities, very clean. Amazing Atlantic views. Nice big pitches. One of the best. Thankyou Donald. Tracey & David in Yorkshire
