Tucked away on a working croft just outside Arisaig, Mossbank is one of those rare finds where dramatic Highland scenery meets genuine peace and quiet. This tiny, members-only certificated site offers fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitches with proper hook-ups, all surrounded by spectacular views and abundant wildlife. The location is a dream for outdoors types—canoeing, climbing, fishing and cycling are all on the doorstep—while dog owners have direct access to excellent walks. It's genuinely remote yet surprisingly well-connected, with public transport and a shop nearby.
The five-star Google rating reflects the warm welcome and thoughtful touches, from barbecue-friendly pitches to recycling facilities. Pitches start from around £30 a night, which feels fair given the setting and facilities. A brilliant base for exploring the western Highlands without sacrificing comfort.

A beautiful setting with fully serviced pitches and individual picnic benches. Very friendly and helpful owners. Our favourite site whilst touring the West Coast of Scotland so far.

Superb site. Long distance panoramic views. Very neat pitches. Water and EHU to each. Short narrow section at final approach otherwise easy access from main Mallaig road. Very little noise. Occasional steam train in the hills. No EV charging allowed but reliable EVO double point in main Mallaig car park on the left as you enter the town. Delivered a constant 37kw. Lovely owner. Cash or BACS. Other sites in area much more expensive and some without EHU. Highly recommended.

Had the most beautiful scenery, woke up to a beautiful big stag in the front garden and the most spectacular sunsets at night. The owners are a lovely welcoming couple, would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
