We stayed in an Arran Lodge, it was perfect & had everything we needed. The bed linen & towels were luxurious, outdoor furniture & cushions were great. The site is immaculate, lawns manicured to perfection. The location was stunning, overlooking the sea, absolutely amazing sunsets. Doing a tour of south west (sw300), this accomodation was mid way through our route. We found the location to be really handy, it is just off the A77 road- perfect for exploring the area. We would have liked to have had a longer stay because the site and accomodation were just so beautiful. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly & efficient, he advised us on where to park & showed us to our lodge. It was extremely well ran. The site building which housed a bistro & spa area was undergoing works. This did not impact our stay at all. We were aware these facilities would not be open due to a fire, it clearly states this information on the website. Definitely would recommend & can't wait to go again. Thank you so much to the Bennane Shore Team.

Location is perfect, we stayed for week in Arran lodge when tide in would think you were on a cruise as water comes right up to lodge. We ended up most days at some point sitting on decking either watching the birds driving for food, or watching the sunsets wow they unbelievable. Lodges have everything you need for stay, they immaculate, comfortable bed, white crisp sheet, soft towels, staff very friendly, site clean & tidy. Only negative for us unable to park car next to lodge had to keep going to & fro to car park next to reception, if at end of site (lodges are set in 2 long rows) this would of been a trek especially if raining. Site is on coast Rd from Stranraer to Ayr yes some traffic noise compensated by sound of waves crashing on rocks. Nearest supermarket/ petrol station Griven approx 8mls away, No beach or kids playground, if these are things you need on hols Bennane shores is not for you. If you want a holiday away from noisy towns, in peace & quiet beautiful surroundings Bennane shore will take some beating, it's perfect.

Beautiful site! Peaceful and away from all the crowds. We visited this place thinking the beach would be flat and sandy as we have a dog. Unfortunately, the beach is full of large stones and rocks, which would not be suitable for our dog to run around in. If you're looking for a tranquil break then this is the place, but if you have a dog then you will have to travel to a sandy beach.
