Lovely, smaller park. Plenty entertainment and things to do for families. Bar staff are lovely and friendly, remembered me from last year, which is a lovely touch! Food is lovely, breakfast was freshly made and excellent. The portions at dinner were more than enough and tasted far better than I expected from a holiday park. Well worth the extra, holiday park prices. Plenty green spaces for kids to run off their energy. Pool small but enough for an hours swim and fun time. Entertainment staff are spot on with the kids. Overall, a great holiday was had, I’ll def be back!

Took my family for the first time this Easter and we had a great time. Not over crowded but not so quiet the kids couldn't make friends. Didn't have to wait long to be served at the bars. I found the kids entertainment better than havens sites we normally visit. We rebooked we enjoyed it that much. Staff were very friendly.

As soon as we arrived we knew it wasn't the place for us. Mobile homes looked run down and close together (pack em in to make as much money as possible.) We arrived early due to travel time, but they wanted to charge us £15 to get in 40 minutes early, we walked around instead. Towels not included, these are £15 to hire. When we did get in, it wasn't quite the gold standard I thought I had booked. Mdf caravan type sofas, very uncomfortable, only a foot space around beds, very basic kitchen (no wooden spoons and a very old burnt frying pan). Someone did come to check everything was OK when we arrived but as only been in 5 minutes hadn't even looked around, I was on the loo! We were due to stay 7 nights, by the 5th we wanted to go home, especially due to another knock on the door to tell us our small van is classed as a commercial vehicle and we would need to park it in the village, 30 mins walk away, we said we were leaving in the morning so allowed to leave it. There was a change over of guests on the Friday (our last night) and some of the new guests thought it would be nice if we joined in with their party! No doubt continued throughout the weekend, so glad we left early. We didn't use the pool or bar/restaurant, so cant comment. No one was bothering to recycle as the only bins were for mixed recyclable, no general waste bins, so everything went in. Apart from that it is ideally located to explore and we enjoyed visits to Dunure Castle, Culzean castle, Ayr, and Lock Doon. Recommend the cafe in Dunure, gorgeous vegan chocolate brownie! We will stay in cottages from now on tho.

Me and my family had a great time at Sundrum Castle Holiday Park, the staff were great and friendly, the food was good and the entertainment for the kids was great as well! the only issue we stumbled across was the size of our caravan, me and a few friends who also had families booked the bronze caravans at the same time, (which are exceptional value) however, when going round to their caravans we quickly noticed that our caravan was a lot smaller in comparison to theirs, so it made it quite difficult for myself, my fiance and my son to actually get around the caravan. Normally It is what it is but the size was genuinely very noticeable and if we did have another child it wouldnt have been enough room at all.
