Erw Feurig is a working hill farm guesthouse at Cefnddwysarn, a few miles from Bala, standing almost a thousand feet above sea level with panoramic views across to the Berwyn mountains. It offers eight beds across five rooms, a mix of doubles, a twin and a double/twin, all with en-suite or private facilities, central heating and a flat-screen television.

Guests have use of a lounge stocked with books and games, a garden with a picnic table, and the farm's own private fishing lake, along with good birdwatching across the surrounding land. The guesthouse holds Visit Wales' walkers' and cyclists' welcome designations and happily accommodates dogs.

A full cooked breakfast is included, and the working farm setting gives it a genuinely rural, unhurried character that suits visitors wanting to get away from the town altogether while still being a short drive from Bala and Llyn Tegid.
