About Galgorm Resort & Spa
Galgorm Resort & Spa suits couples and groups after a proper spa escape rather than a quick overnight stop, thanks to a thermal village set along the river with a wide range of hot tubs, saunas and relaxation spaces to work through at a slow pace. The riverside setting adds to the appeal, giving the spa areas a genuinely scenic backdrop rather than a windowless treatment room feel.
The 74 rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and family rooms available for those travelling with children. Breakfast and dining are a strong point, with a restaurant on site alongside a bar, room service and drinks available in room. Guests can also make use of an indoor swimming pool, games room, gardens with outdoor seating and a picnic area, while porter and concierge services and free on-site parking take care of the practical side. Pets are welcome, and the resort also hosts weddings.
Ballymena and County Antrim's wider countryside are within easy reach, with Glenariff Forest Park nearby for those wanting a walk between spa sessions, and a golf course, pubs, bars and restaurants close by for evenings out. Staff are consistently noted for being attentive and welcoming, which fits a property built around guests settling in and staying a while.
What guests say
Gorgeous! Treatments were very relaxing in a beautiful room, complete with a huge aquarium! Staff were welcoming and attentive. Set beside the river amongst the woodland was lovely. Watching the resident heron was a treat! All the areas we experienced were of high quality. It was a week day so quieter (I imagine) and there was no big wait to experience any of the areas. There future plans look fantastic too. I would say it was great value for money on the day package we experienced. Definitely recommend.

This was my first overnight stay in the Galgorm Hotel. I have been to a few weddings but for this wedding we decided to stay overnight. Our room was in the main hotel, which was absolutely lovely. I have stayed in a few hotels over the years, but found the Galgorm very lush with quality and a rich atmosphere. I can see why it is so popular. Walking through reception to the hallways and rooms, you can see that no expensive was spared. Artwork everywhere. The room was a very large comfortable bed, and fridge with complimentary drinks and snacks in the room. Coffee machine, kettle, bit tv and large shower. Breakfast was gorgeous in the restaurant the next morning. You will definitely not be leaving hungry. It is slightly more expensive but you definitely are getting what you pay for. Highly recommend 👌

Exceeded expectations - All the staff were fantastic, the service was set to a high standard in all areas. We had Breakfast in the River room which felt very special. The food was Fantastic, I appreciated a menu style approach which worked well in this environment. Gillies for dinner was lovely, they had introduced some new options which were cooked well and tasted great. Staff again, fantastic. You can tell they put a huge amount of effort in their furnishing and landscaping, the place is aging well. The look and feel can be appreciated much better in person. The Spa was great, never had an issue with it being too busy. The salad for lunch was big and very fresh, I could have gone for a large but the small was enough. Drink prices are on the high side but in line with 5 star hotels. The room that I had came with a complimentary mini bar, so you can offset the restaurant and spa prices with that.

Stunning hotel in the most beautiful surroundings. The thermal spa is amazing and so relaxing. We went midweek so it wasn't too busy and we had a room overlooking the river which was lovely. We had dinner and breakfast there and both meals were delicious.
