Excellent place for kids! Only stayed 1 night, we arrived and were welcomed by a lovely young man on reception, what a brilliant first impression. Great shop, brilliant pizza, seats, totally chill vibe. Kids have room to run, fly kites, play football, feed goats (pellets for sale in shop), what a lovely experience! Didn’t have a shower cos I’m a bit rustic like that but loos were lovely. There is a train line close by but it’s not too loud and it’s infrequent at night time. Grab the kids and visit!

We stayed here with our caravan and decided to try the pizzas they make on certain evenings. Unfortunately, all of us were very disappointed. The pizza was one of the worst we've had. The base was extremely thin and hard, more like a cracker than a pizza. The sauce tasted like ketchup with a small amount of mozzarella on top. I ordered a vegetarian pizza, and after it came out of the oven they simply added raw red onion on top, which made it even worse. Considering the price (£10 for a Margherita and £12–£13 for the other pizzas), the quality was very poor. Honestly, a frozen pizza from Asda or Tesco would have been much better. The campsite has potential, but it feels like there isn't enough investment in the things that matter. The draught beer tasted watered down, the shop had very limited stock, and the facilities could have been cleaner and better organised. The staff were polite, but as a business there is definitely room for improvement. Good food, cleanliness and good service are what bring customers back.

Great campsite, the kids were off with their holiday friends!! Either on the bouncy castles, in the little park area, playing football, riding their bikes, feeding the goats, or admiring the birds. The bar was reasonably priced as well as the shop, and on site food. The only thing that let it down would be the upkeep of the toilets or showers. It won't put me off from returning though. Great destination for families!!! Loved it!!!

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Dairy Farm Caravan and Camping. The site offers great facilities, including clean showers and electricity, which made our stay very comfortable. There is a small on-site shop, as well as a kitchen serving delicious breakfast and dinner, and a lovely bar to relax in.The atmosphere is very family-friendly, with a bouncy castle for children and even a small zoo with goats and parrots, which was a real highlight. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, making everyone feel at home. The location is also very convenient, with local shops just a short distance away. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay, and we would definitely recommend it to others!
