We took the Lambing tour in May at "Down On The Farm" and had such a wonderful time! Location - it is a drive to get there, but it's located in some stunning Scottish landscape. We should have planned to spend a night in the north highlands to have the opportunity to explore more, but what we were able to explore was amazing. As for the Lambing tour itself, Matthew and Carole are wonderful. Very factual and they try so hard to make sure each of their guests has the best experience they can provide. We enjoyed the tour, but really enjoyed sitting with our group at the end of the tour having some snacks and just chatting with everyone. This was a 5 star experience through and through! Thank you both so very much!

We had a fantastic time on our lambing experience thanks to Carole and Matthew at Down on the Farm! They were so welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable, and obviously put a lot of care into raising their animals. We learnt a lot about the sheep and the lambing process, and were lucky enough to help out with bottle-feeding a few lambs. The farm is in a stunning location and the rhubarb cake we got to enjoy at the end was delicious! Would definitely recommend 😄

Wow! Wow! And WOW! Brilliant accommodation! Fabulous views! Sooooooooooooo peaceful. Everything you need to get back to basics (firepit, pans, etc) Shower? Great. Layout of site?...perfect. Toilet? ...superb. Wooden windbreaker?... beautiful design. Beds?... Extremely comfortable 😴Carole?... gorgeous! Warm and welcoming host. Carole brings 99.9% of the joy to being on Down on the farm 😃 Two nights not long enough. Want/need to go back, very, very soon. So much to see and do within short distances and we didn't see half of what we wanted to ☹️ But that's okay...cause we will be back!

We had a lovely time Down on the Farm! We did the Cows and Coast tour with the lovely Carole and Mathew. From feeding the cows (and falling in love with them) to learning about a suckler herd, to the breathtaking views of the Moray Firth, we enjoyed every moment of this tour from beginning to end. The tea and goodies baked by Carole were delicious and a lovely end to our visit. Thank you both for sharing your farm with us!
