About Delamont Country Park Caravan and Camping Site
Delamont Country Park sits on the shores of Strangford Lough near Killyleagh, its touring site set within an established country park of woodland walks, a walled garden and a huge timber adventure playground built around a Viking longship theme. The park is run by the Camping and Caravanning Club but welcomes non-members, and pitches are laid out on level grass with good spacing between them, giving a quieter feel than many commercial sites of similar size.
Facilities include electric hook-ups, modern shower and toilet blocks, and a small on-site shop for basics. Dogs are welcome throughout the park's walking trails, which loop through mixed woodland and along the lough shore, and the park's high tower viewpoint gives one of the best outlooks over Strangford Lough's drumlin islands in the county. The park makes a good base for exploring the Ards Peninsula and the National Trust properties around Strangford village, including Castle Ward, while Belfast itself is a straightforward 45-minute drive north.

What visitors say
Lovely welcoming site beautifully kept grounds and helpful staff. We were on pitch 41 and had the sun all day but had much needed shade from a tree on out pitch. Situated right next to entrance to the country park and cycle rides. Town of Killyleagh was a 10 min cycle or 25 min walk with a beautiful harbour and castle.

First time I've stayed at the campsite. It's excellent. Clean, tidy, great layout, friendly staff, cheap. I will 100% be back without a doubt. Thanks for a great weekend, Delamont team!
