The waitress provided good service but the food portions were disappointing. Paying £42, including the service charge, for two small dishes and two cans of soft drinks simply wasn't worth it. The chicken in tomato sauce tasted unpleasant and the burger was much smaller than it appears in the photos. Overall, the food didn't justify the price. Unfortunately, we won't be returning here.

Passyunk is goddamn rad! When in proximity to the American Embassy, it feels like Tom Cruise may just walk in. I’ve delved into the American beers, pickle backs and vibe… But I do LOVE the food! When you are knotted by the tourists of Battersea Power Station, this is your hedonistic escape. It was Sunday afternoon and everyone was doing a roast lunch, we decided to jump on the back of American Hoapitality! Tater totes with bacon bits and squeezey cheese that has travelled through time with Bill & Ted as the salt to our future. A chilli dogs that came in a sublime sub. Soft delicious and sinkable! A totally underestimated US titan in London STILL… we had a Philly Steak Sub. We don’t mean to rock the boat, but Trump can take his Defiant and shove it, cos nothing is gonna bring people together like these dishes. The place is rocking, the staff are awesome, it has pool, beers and is damn good for a party of mates or just to get staff from the American Embassy happy to reveal all their secrets. Thanks guys! When you first landed like a hidden Area 51 years ago in London, I’ve still been that alien enjoying some US.

Post embassy visit lunch and really enjoyed the visit. Has a Dive bar feel, food was good, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches were nice, service was fine. There's a pool table and overall I enjoyed the visit

DOOM RAINS

We had high hopes for Passyunk Avenue in Battersea after loving the Kensington location, but this visit was a disaster. While the kitchen team delivered solid food as usual, the service was shockingly bad. Our waitress seemed completely untrained... she brought us tap water in glasses with lipstick stains, took orders with zero enthusiasm, and made the whole experience awkward. Tables were sticky with leftover grime, and another customer’s dog was allowed to roam unchecked (I like pets, but keep them under control!). The worst part? They still added a service fee for this mess. It’s a shame because the chefs clearly care, but front-of-house ruined what should’ve been a nice family meal. Stick to the Kensington branch... this one isn’t worth the hassle.
