The staff were exceptional from the moment I checked in until I checked out. The level of service throughout my stay was outstanding. Thimeshi and Sanela at the front desk were particularly impressive. They greeted me by name, were warm, professional, and consistently courteous, making me feel genuinely welcome. The barman Aiden also provided excellent service. He was friendly, attentive, and remembered my preferred drink, which added a personal touch to the overall experience. Thanks to the General Manager and his entire team for making my stay so enjoyable. I would happily return and highly recommend this hotel.

We came here for a surprise afternoon tea for my wife's birthday on Saturday 25th July with our close friends. It's funny really as my wife and I have driven past the hotel over the years and never thought of going in. We were so pleasantly surprised as the service from Claire and Sylvie who serve the afternoon tea's was exemplary, nothing was too much for them. We would like to thank our friends Justin and Mark for the lovely birthday surprise for my wife and we will definitely return.

Our communication with Elisabeth and Katie was very easy from the onset; they were extremely helpful in organising our event and offering help, to support our requirements. On the evening of our dinner, the staff were faultless - we all had such a fantastic time; everyone was friendly and accommodating. There was some confusion with the restaurant set-up arrangements, however this was managed extremely efficiently, with thanks to Jay and his team, who offered solutions and ensured everyone's needs were met, without hesitation. The food was great, very tasty and plentiful and the rooms were very clean and inviting. Highly recommend.

Good location by the river. We've stayed before but it wasn't as good this time around, with the exception of breakfast which was better than before as the bacon was well cooked this time. The bathroom bin was still full of the previous occupants rubbish. Our dog stayed too. Last time she got a warm welcome and a little toy. This time we just got charged the £15 per night which us a bit steep as she's no bother. The outside is very scruffy. We tried to use the pool table but because there was a ball missing after we paid it wouldn't release the balls. The staff managed to get the balls out but we had already paid twice trying so one game cost £4 instead of £2 and I'm not convinced the table was level. No drawers in the room.
