About Belle Vue Farm Touring Caravan Site
Belle Vue Farm sits just outside Stanhope in the Durham Dales, offering panoramic valley views from its quiet, adult-only pitches. The site welcomes campervans and caravans (no tents) and enforces a strict pet-free policy, making it particularly appealing to those who prefer a calmer atmosphere without dogs. Electric hook-ups, showers, toilets and drinking water cover the basics, though there's no WiFi – which suits the peaceful, back-to-nature character here.
The location works well for exploring Weardale's market towns and moorland walks, with Stanhope's stone village a short drive away. Some visitors note the facilities can feel a touch dated, but most appreciate the tranquillity and those sweeping Pennine views. It's a straightforward, no-frills base for couples or solo tourers wanting scenery without the usual campsite bustle.
