Staying under canvas here puts you within easy striking distance of Zip World Llechwedd, the Ffestiniog Railway and some of Snowdonia's finest, least-crowded walking, including routes up into the Moelwynion and out to the abandoned quarry village of Cwmorthin — all without the queues that build up on the more famous Snowdon paths in peak season.
