What visitors say
We stayed in the log pod and were allowed to set up an adjacent tent on the field for a cheap additional rate, as we were 6 ppl in total. The pod was well equipped, cosy and comfortable. We had a massive field to ourselves and lovely views of the country surroundings. Brenda was such a gracious host, providing extra blankets for the tent dwellers! Lovely fire pit with seating around made for the perfect camping experience. Very close and convenient to Peaks District. Also great value for money, one of the cheaer pod stays I've found. It's one of those places that you really want to support after having such a lovely stay and being provided for so nicely by the wonderful hosts! I highly recommend if you're looking for a comfy camping experience away from the crowds.

Had a lovely relaxing stay at Red Oaks Farm with our dog. We had a large room with double aspect view over the surrounding farmland. Microwave, fridge and kettle in the room . Very comfortable bed. The cooked breakfast was a treat. Plenty of signposted walks close by. A great base for exploring the area.

Stayed in the log pod last night, and had a really lovely time. Brenda was welcoming and drove us herself to the log pod upon arrival. Log pod itself spotless, in a lovely location and full of all necessities. Beautiful surrounding area too with plenty to do. Would recommend 100% and we hope to be back soon!

End of a long day walking (Peak District Boundary Walk - 2 sections covered) and we were both wilting. We were met at the farm by a welcoming Brenda and Olivia and driven to the pod with provisions. Excellent pod based in the top corner of a field, nice views, inquisitive lambs, very comfy. I'm 6ft5 and the bed fit me fine...slept very well. Didn't have chance to use the firepit as we had arrived too late for anything other than food and sleep but we left rejuvinated next morning for another 2 sections of the Boundary Walk. Brenda was a complete darling, very helpful and friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Thank you.
