Timbrell's Yard occupies a converted Grade II listed malthouse directly on the banks of the River Avon in the centre of Bradford-on-Avon, one of the most central places to stay in town and among its best regarded. Seventeen individually decorated bedrooms mix exposed stone and timber with contemporary furnishings, several looking directly over the water.

The ground floor restaurant and bar have built a strong reputation under a kitchen with a farm-to-plate focus, drawing diners from beyond the hotel's own guests, while a large outdoor terrace beside the river makes the most of the setting in warmer months. A log burner in the bar keeps the space equally appealing through the winter.

Families and dogs are welcomed, with dogs receiving their own overnight goody bag, and the location puts every attraction in the town centre, from the Saxon church to the Shambles, within a short walk. Bath is a fifteen-minute drive or a short train ride away.
