A Jacobean country house hotel in fourteen acres, built around families and dogs, with two pools and a spa.

About Woolley Grange Hotel

Woolley Grange is a Jacobean manor house set in fourteen acres of gardens and grounds at Woolley Green, just outside Bradford-on-Avon. Built from the same honey-coloured stone as the town below, the hotel has long been run with families firmly in mind, offering an indoor pool, two outdoor pools in season and dedicated children's facilities alongside its adult spa treatments.

Two restaurants serve everything from relaxed family dinners to more considered evening menus built around local and kitchen-garden produce, and the grounds include play areas, a games barn and enough space for children to disappear for an afternoon without anyone worrying. Dogs are equally welcome, with the hotel's rural setting suiting country walks straight from the door.

Despite its family focus, the house retains real historic character, from oak-panelled communal rooms to individually furnished bedrooms in the main house and converted stable outbuildings. Bradford-on-Avon's centre, with its canal towpath and Saxon church, is a short drive away, and Bath is within easy reach for a day trip.
