What visitors say
The owner! Michael Tyson. Is the salt of the Earth kind of guy. I've never met a sight owner as honest, friendly and approachable. The campsite is absolutely lovely. It is only small and caters for both vans, and a woodland are a for tents. I did use a raised fire pit, bbq, but it did leave a bit of scorched surface. Which I'm sure will recover within a few days. The weather was most foul, and beat us into submission. I'd kind of noticed that some previous campers had left a real mess, and the lady of the land was understandably upset and furious. There's absolutely no need to leave things in such a mess. It sounds like they are barred from future stays overs there. If I can just say one negative! The urinal toilet was in need of some TLC. I didn't use the blue one. Other than that.... Absolutely perfect. I would imagine that in lovely weather! It would be a little gem on the outskirts of Bradford. Good points.... Friendly owner, great location, plenty of private spots for tents. Not so good points.... The urinal was in need of a bit of a clean. The bin area was a bit confusing, regarding labeling. At least from what I saw in the bins. Some folks can't differentiate between plastic and glass. I would hope to visit again soon

Stayed 1 night with two young children and owners couldn't have been more helpful to accommodate. It's a back to basics camp site with porta-loos & fresh water but exactly what we were looking for and beautiful scenery. Fantastic location, feels like it's in the middle of the countryside but just 5 mins away from a Tesco Superstore, so dead easy to get supplies. Good walking/biking paths right next to the campsite. Will definitely be back in the summer!

Thankyou Mick for your incredible hospitality and kindness . You really went the extra mile to make my time at 2 Acres a memorable one during what is a transitional stage for me while dealing with my disability. Luis loved the place and what was amazing was the friendliness of other campers towards each other . A huge thanks to your Mum and Dad in law too, really amazing Yorkshire folk . I really wanted to give you a 5 star 🌟 rating but the incident with your daughter left me gutted .
