Merry Hill is one of the best shopping centres in the West Midlands and somewhere I visit regularly. There’s a great mix of shops, restaurants and cafés, so it’s easy to spend a full day here whether you’re shopping or just meeting up for food. Parking is generally excellent with plenty of spaces available, although it can get very busy around Christmas, so it’s worth arriving earlier during the festive period. One thing that consistently stands out is how clean the centre is. The toilets are always well maintained, especially the ones by Eat Central, which are some of the best shopping centre facilities I’ve used. The current owners also seem to be doing a much better job of running the centre. It feels well looked after, there are regular improvements, and there’s a good variety of events throughout the year that help keep it lively. My only real criticism is that some retailers close earlier than the shopping centre itself. It would be better if the larger stores stayed open for the centre’s full opening hours, with only the smaller independent shops choosing to close earlier. Overall, it’s a well-managed shopping centre with an excellent choice of retailers, good facilities and ample parking. It’s still my first choice for shopping in the area.

It’s surprising that Esquire Menswear isn’t clearly listed on the Merry Hill directory, as it’s genuinely one of the standout menswear stores here. You’ll find it on the lower ground floor next to Boots, and it absolutely deserves to be featured. The store itself is exceptional and easily earns 5 stars from me. A premium destination for men’s suits, tuxedos, wedding suits, prom suits, and smart casualwear, with a strong focus on quality, fit, and style. The team offer free fittings and provide a personalised, professional service that really sets them apart. Whether you’re shopping for a wedding, prom, race day, graduation, or any special occasion, this is a go-to menswear shop at Merry Hill. It would be great to see this store properly represented on the directory.

Maybe I am a bit biased being from another major city in the Uk. Merry Hill shopping centre contains all your usual shops in a single location. Some people may like the smaller sIe of Merry Hill compares to others. The car parks here feel plentiful and there seems to reasonable levels of security about after shops shut to cater for those businesses who remain open later. It feels a little souless and lacks character. We visited on a saturday and it felt quiet. Food establishments seems to be sacatteres throughout the centre, with what feels like restaurants popping up as they ran out of retail space in the food court area. We passed by here as our break. It suited ua well and may well return at some point.

Merry Hill Shopping Centre is a large shopping centre near Birmingham in the West Midlands, England. It opened in 1985 and is one of the biggest shopping centres in the United Kingdom. The centre has more than 200 shops, including popular stores such as Marks & Spencer, Primark, and Next. It also offers restaurants, cafés, and entertainment areas for visitors. Me and my wife love it and we will visited it again
