What visitors say
There is sn opportunity to experience a refreshingly different experience, camping in the wood, and with a perfectly adequate modern toilet shower and washing facilty at the entrance to the wood. Safe camp fire pits provided Limited space available. It would suit a group of 10-20 nicely.

Absolutely Perfect for a peaceful no frills, no fuss stay! Very easy and helpful booking, with directions and information. Just what I needed for an overnight stay. There are showers and toilets in the campervan field, waste bins and a caravan sales and service centre the otherside of the road! Met some friendly chickens and there’s a nice walk nearby. All this for £12.50 pp per night! Will definitely return again for hopefully a longer stay.

Stayed 1 night October 24th. Very clear guidance to the site, lockbox with instructions and to leave payment in as the site was unattended. Nice pitch screened by hedges. Water tap on pitch, metered electricity. Took £1 coins, cost about £2.30. We were running the electric heating. Easy access to Bristol. I would not choose to stay longer than a couple of days, I prefer sites with more facilities, but would visit here again as it is good for visiting family in Bristol. Also had crabapple trees on the pitch. Would make very nice crabapple jelly. 😉

Bristol camping has been fantastic for me! I have been doing some training for a new job in the area and hotels are crazy money (but I do also enjoy camping) I actually have been using my car with a bed in the back and some make shift window covers! Very reasonable good facilities toilet and a nice hot shower. I even messaged at around 9pm at night as (user error) I couldn’t get the shower to work and they came to look which I thought was amazing considering it was nighttime. There are lovely animals that roam the site (chickens and I believe to be turkeys!) which is really fun. Will definitely stay again when I’m in Bristol next year. Nice and quiet too considering it’s close to the motorway Thanks , George
