I came from Japan for The battle of Evesham fest and was not disappointed. The shops had so many cool things, horn mugs, leather goods, knives, and clothing to name a few. Great choices of food and drinks as well. The battle reenactment was so much fun and educational. Talking to the reenactors was also great fun, they were so friendly and didn't mind answering my dumb questions.

It took place over the first weekend of August in the meadows next to the River Avon. It's a free event and we visited on Sunday. It had a good, bustling atmosphere with lots of Medieval camps to see including horses. The re-enactors were in good spirits and happily chatted to us about the history of the battle. A good event for families to visit during the summer holidays.
