Buckingham Spy Mission Treasure Trail

This is a lovely quiet campsite, without frills, in the village of Akeley. There are two camping fields surrounded by trees and hedgerows with 3 drinking water points for filling up of water tanks. There is also an elsan/toilet disposal point. There are spotlessly clean male and female toilets with cold water only but no shower facilities. Neville and Maureen are very helpful and friendly (as are Martha the sheep and Albert the alpaca). It's a peaceful place to stay in the countryside. The village has a good pub 10 minutes walk away with food vans visiting a couple of days a week. It is a five minute drive, 40 minute walk or fifteen minute cycle ride to Buckingham. Silverstone race circuit is a short distance away and this is a popular place to stay on F1 and MotoGP weekends. Stowe house and gardens are also close by.

It is a very nice campsite! The owner is very hospitable and shows you around. There is everything you need for water and sewage except electricity! A special highlight are the animals on the farm. There are horses, ponies, alpacas and sheep. Highly recommended for children - our children were very happy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For £15 I was more than happy. Lovely welcome, pretty flat field, basic but very clean toilets, noisy road during the day but very quiet through the night.

Great flat rally field. Toilet ok and clean. Nice views with the sheep, alpaca and horses. Had a lovely stay Owners are great
