Adult-only lodging in remote Ceredigion with a drying room and a working farm on site.
About Jemima and The Secret Garden
Jemima and The Secret Garden is a tiny adult-only lodging site on a working farm in remote Ceredigion, near Bwlch Llan. The setting is peaceful and spectacular, with the kind of quiet that suits walkers and those after a genuine break from noise. The site holds just a handful of pitches and is genuinely isolated, the sort of place where wildlife matters as much as the guests.
Facilities include showers, a launderette, a drying room (useful in Welsh weather), a TV room, and a bar or club house. Wifi is available throughout, there is car parking by each pitch, and dogs are welcome year-round. Barbecues are allowed. The site sits within easy reach of cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, canoeing and kayaking, plus fishing and golf nearby; cycle hire is available locally. A restaurant is close by if cooking is not on the agenda.

The cottage and the area is absolutely stunning. It is such a beautiful cottage. The owner can not do enough for you, she even brought us some scales over so we could make some bread. The hot tub and the fire is a great addition. This is our second stay here and have already booked for next year. We love everything about the cottage and the surrounding area. Great area for night photography. Thank you 😊

We stopped here for 3 nights in September 2024 with camper and motorcycle with some friends. A really pleasant location and very friendly host. Going back again this August 8th for 6 nights as we enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The showers and toilets were spotless. Looking forward to a well earned break away and this could be our go to place in the future🤞.

Was a pleasure to spend our mini honeymoon in the cottage. My partner wanted a light burner and I wanted a hot tub and this lovely cottage popped up and we're so glad we came across it. We seen our first ever shooting stars whilst lay in the hot tub at night as the sky was so clear due to there being no light pollution. We also seen my first woodpecker and even got to meet Charlie their horse, we bought him some carrots but due to the weather they had to move him so left them there for him and they then sent us a video once we'd left of him enjoying them. They honestly couldn't do enough, from coming round daily for hot tub checks to texting me back with an amazing takeaway recommendation that delivered right to us. We booked our next stay during our stay because we just couldn't wait to be back!!

Wow what a fabulous location. If you are anything like me and crave peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The house has everything you could possibly wish for. Relaxing in the hot tub 🛀 is a must. At night the light pollution is non existent, so the stars 🌟 will come out to play on a clear night. Your hosts Menna & John are an absolute delight and nothing is too much trouble. The walks in the area are a must. Thank you the Hill family
