Great campsite, just a few miles from Pen Y Pass. Quiet and no frills but beautiful spot with mountain views all around. The facilities are basic but clean and hot water. Location is really handy as the bus stop is right outside and even a pub right opposite if you don't want to venture far.

No thrills campsite that does exactly what it needs to do. Older reviews not as relevant: there is toilet roll and the showers are free. £10 per person, kids £5, under 6s free. No electric hook up and no charging points available in the loos. Charging points for a phone would make this place 5 stars. Limited network, some of our party had no problems, some absolutely nothing. Theres WiFi at the pub. Buses go every 30 minutes to Llanberis, were £3 per adult. Hike to Snowdon from campsite is possible, but incredibly steep and not well marked....not for the inexperienced. Views are definitely 5 star 🌟

Great location right at the bottom of the pass and ideal for exploring Dinorwig Quarry and walking and climbing. £10pppn cash only. Free showers and toilets. Two large camping fields and good access for a campervan in top field. People say pub right across the road is good.

Cheap for the UK at just £10 per person, cash only, likely because there's no phone reception here so a card machine wouldn't even work! The campsite is simply a field with some fairly modern unlimited hot water showers and small kitchen. Really can't complain for the price. Pretty sure it's Snowdon you can see from the pitches, with the odd smokey train going up and down. The lovely old lady suggested not putting our trailer tent in the middle of the field in case it gets blown away, so we put it beside the wall. However, the wind in the area is unusual as it will be still for an hour, followed by a huge gust coming down from the mountain. Unfortunately one gust almost blew the trailer tent away, and we had to leave a day early - originally we wanted to stay 3 nights but due to the wind, we left early. I believe the field closer to the road receives less wind, but I'm surprised the tents in that field didn't also blow away. WiFi is available at the (very good) pub opposite in emergency, in the doorway in case it's closed. There's a small town a 5 minute drive away for cafes and more.
