This is Willow park & Marina’s best kept secret. What a beautiful place to be and stay. Toilets and shower block clean and well stocked. Incredible views and great for kayaking on the river. Easy launch from the bank of the Marina. Thank’s Sharon for what I would consider the prime pitch of the whole site. Will be booking our 3rd visit soonest.

Spent two lovely days here - owner was very helpful and friendly and the 50% discount for a meal at the Brampton Mill just around the corner from the site was an unexpected bonus. We were an unexpected arrival a bit later in day but they kindly waited for us. The toilets/shower block (including laundry facilities ) were very clean and tidy and warm . Ideal to stay over if travelling to Dover or as we were - the Tunnel . Would definitely stay again. Not much noise from roads either - good nights sleep.Dog friendly too and walks from the site.

The rudest site manager (Sharon) I have ever met. She openly had arguments with anyone on the site. There is no clear rules for the site it seems she just makes them up as she goes along. She is very intimidating and we were on edge the whole time we stayed. We also witnessed her telling a parent that there better not be any noise complaints as they arrived and were putting their tent up. The facilities are very run down and dirty. There were always puddles around the toilets and were dog poos left around the site. Will not be going back to this site. EDIT SINCE REPLY: Just to be clear, our tent is a 6 man tent. We informed the campsite, multiple times, before coming that we were coming with family members bringing our booking to 4 adults. On the night we asked the site manager if it was alright to move the electrical plug from the tent to the car as the tent was too hot to sleep in for one of us who is undergoing cancer treatment on their skin and needed to be cool. The reply from the site manger was it was absolutely fine. She then came over the morning after the following night and demanded we pay an additional pitch fee for these nights - going back on what she had previously said. We paid the fee as we did not want to make it awkward for the person with us who was undergoing the treatment and we had tried to accommodate. There was no mention of fire hazards when it was agreed and she only brought this up later.

Sharon was extremely accommodating when we booked at the last minute and we received a very warm welcome. Beautiful well kept site alongside a little marina with paddle boards floating by. Peaceful. Nice gastro pub next door.
