About Trebared Farm
Trebared Farm sits in a quiet fold of the Ceredigion countryside just outside Cardigan, offering a back-to-basics pitch with big views and minimal fuss. This is wild camping with a few welcome touches: showers, chemical disposal, renewable energy, and local produce available on-site. Campfires are allowed, and the farm's peaceful setting makes it a natural base for walkers and wildlife watchers, with dog-friendly pitches and plenty of nearby trails.
Facilities are kept simple—there's no hot water, and the site feels genuinely remote—but that's part of the appeal for those seeking a proper escape. Pitches start from around £25 a night for non-electric grass and earth touring or tent spots. With canoeing, cycling, and coastal walks all within easy reach, it's a solid, unfussy choice for exploring West Wales at ground level.

What visitors say
We have just returned from our third stay at the Thatched Cottage, this time booking through Airbnb, and without a doubt it has been our best stay yet. We stayed for just over a week, and it was the perfect amount of time. There was so much to enjoy both on-site and in the surrounding area that we never ran out of things to do. The cottage is full of character and charm, while still offering all the modern comforts you could need. The dishwasher, TVs and other home comforts blend beautifully with the traditional feel of the cottage, preserving its character while making it incredibly comfortable to stay in. Having two bathrooms was a huge bonus when holidaying as a larger family, making mornings and evenings so much easier. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the whole place was so peaceful, the perfect place to relax and unwind. The on-site laundry facilities were also brilliant, especially for a longer family stay, making it easy to keep on top of washing without having to overpack. We made the most of everything the property has to offer. The children loved the play park and games room, we enjoyed exploring the many walks around the grounds, meeting and interacting with the beautiful animals, and taking in the stunning countryside views. Finishing each day soaking in our own private hot tub was the perfect treat. There is also a lovely on-site farm shop selling delicious local produce, including produce from the farm itself, which was a wonderful addition. We didn’t get the chance to use the pizza oven or make the most of the private BBQ at our cottage this time, but they’re already on our list for our next visit! As parents of an autistic son, this holiday was especially meaningful. It is the first time we have truly felt he was completely safe, relaxed and able to simply enjoy being on holiday. Watching him feel so settled and happy allowed us to relax too, and that is something that is incredibly rare and priceless for our family. The children loved it so much that they didn’t want to leave. We happily spent several days making the most of the fantastic facilities on-site, and on other days explored the local area, with so many beautiful places and attractions just a short drive away. This is a truly special place that offers something for everyone. Peaceful, beautiful, family-friendly and full of charm, it has become one of our favourite places to stay. We can’t recommend it highly enough and are already looking forward to returning for our fourth visit.

Highly recommend this place. We spent 5 days here, and every single day was amazing. Treberfedd Farm has a beautiful landscape. The house is very cozy and, despite its size, is very comfortable and has everything you need.

Dora the vintage caravan provided the most relaxing holiday we've had. The setting is beautiful, the wagon was a cozy haven,. Whilst we were there the weather was fierce but we lit the fire pit and embraced it all. Try the beef and lamb available at the shop on site, the quality is amazing. Lots of good places to go locally, we saw dolphins but weren't quick enough to get pictures, we did manage to get lots of artisan bread and local cheese which were delightful. We had a fabulous week, Jack and Becky were there when we had questions and went out of their way to help. We're already planning our return, Dora is perfect As with all holiday cottages take your own sharp knife
